How Does WarmSculpting Work?
With WarmSculpting, a targeted laser applicator heats fat cells under the skin without affecting the skin’s surface. This laser, called SculpSure, raises the temperature of fat cells which damages their structural integrity. Over the next few weeks, the damaged fat cells are processed and naturally eliminated by the body’s lymphatic system. Fat cells are permanently removed and will not regenerate. Results can be seen as quickly as six weeks, and optimal results are typically seen at 12 weeks.
Is WarmSculpting right for me?
WarmSculpting is ideal for people with trouble pockets of fat, particularly those that seem resistant to diet and exercise. WarmSculpting works best on people who are at or close to their appropriate BMI (Body Mass Index). You can check your BMI with your doctor or using a free online calculator. If you’re looking for skin tightening more than fat reduction, then Venus Legacy might be a more suitable treatment for you. Although WarmSculpting does provide some skin tightening while reducing fat.
What should I expect during the treatment?
Most patients feel a tingling sensation or a small level of discomfort intermittently throughout the treatment which is generally well-tolerated. This will take place over 25 minutes, with little to no discomfort reported after the treatment is finished.
How long before I can resume normal activities?
There is no downtime with WarmSculpting. You can even have the treatment during your lunch hour and return to work immediately.
