How long does lip blushing last?

Results can vary from person to person and depend on lifestyle choices (e.g., sun exposure, smoking, cosmetics used on the lips, medications etc.) but on average, touch-ups to refresh the colour are recommended every 1-2 years.

Is the procedure painful?

A topical anesthetic is applied to numb your lips prior to the procedure so that the discomfort is minimal.

Can this procedure be used to colour correct dark lips?

Yes, this procedure can also be done to colour correct lips. For example, lips with more natural brown, purple, or gray tones may need to counterbalance their darkness with a special technique known as lip neutralization. It uses warm pigments to lighten innately dark hues in the skin.
